SCULPTURE ON PARK AVENUE

The Park Avenue malls provide a unique opportunity to display works of art. Exhibitions are presented by The Sculpture Committee of The Fund for Park Avenue and the Public Art Program of the City of New York’s Department of Parks & Recreation in collaboration with arts organizations and artists. Works by Venezuelan artist, Rafael Barrios, will be featured on the Park Avenue malls from 53rd to 67th Streets starting in March. The exhibition will run through June 2012.

Night Presence IV by Louise Nevelson is the only permanent installation on Park Avenue (at 93rd Street). The Citywide Monuments Conservation Program (CMCP) is currently seeking funding to restore this iconic piece.
